Transportation Options for Seniors
Having reliable transportation can be a key to independence. For many seniors, health conditions prevent them from driving safely, yet there are many options for senior transportation. Many of these options are dependent on where you live and where you need to go, your ability to pay for the service, and any adaptive equipment that you use. Staff from the Capital District Transportation Committee (CDTC) will discuss the new “Senior Transportation Directory” created with Albany Guardian Society to assist seniors in finding the best and most affordable transportation options.
