This class will review Sars-CoV-2 virus as an emerging infection and the cause of COVID-19. A discussion on what has been learned about the virus, the disease, and the evolution of our responses to COVID-19 infection. A review of the virus, how it is spread, testing, diagnosis, and treatment, as well as some of the controversies encountered during the pandemic.
