This presentation will provide an overview of the Medicare program and coverage options, including: Medigap/Medicare Supplement Insurance, Medicare Advantage/Medicare Health Plans and Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage.
Health and drug plans for seniors covered by Medicare can change each year including individual costs, benefit coverage, providers, and pharmacy networks covered by each plan. Individuals enrolled in the Medicare Advantage/Medicare Health Plans and prescription drug plans (PartD) have the opportunity during the Open Enrollment Period (October 15 to December 7) to change their Medicare health and prescription drug plans for the upcoming year.
