Remaining Healthy and Independent with Technology
Technology is increasingly allowing seniors to monitor health and remain independent in their homes. This forum will explore a variety of technologies including medical systems, wearables, telemedicine, home safety, “smart” appliances, digital assistants, and transportation. Technologies that will be demonstrated will be a diabetes monitor, an Apple Watch, and apartments with Alexa voice activation integration that can control lighting, security, and thermostat settings. This program is open to the public.
